With the exception of the LED power level meters, the SAE 2200 is about as basic as they come. Note the absence of any power switch.

Especially in the mid 1970's, SAE (Scientific Audio Electronics) manufactured superb audio components- power amplifiers in particular- that still resonate with audiophiles today.

It isn't the most powerful amplifier in the world. However, I am impressed by the neutral sound of these amps.
